Comfortable warmth in the Hofbräuhaus.

Hofbräuhaus, Munich

The Munich Hofbräuhaus am Platzl is one of the city’s best-known institutions – and probably the most famous pub in the world. At the end of the 16th century, Duke Wilhelm V had it built to supply beer to his court, the Wittelsbacher Hof.

Today, the most famous taproom in Munich attracts both locals and tourists from all around the world as a place to enjoy a hearty snack and a stein of beer. Over time, the Hofbräuhaus has evolved into a versatile public house with a range of rooms available for guests to use. The main beer hall known as the Schwemme, the Bräustüberl room, and the beer garden resting in the shade of chestnut trees make the venue a year-round attraction, whatever the weather or the time of day.

By providing modern, energy-saving radiators, Kermi has ensured that the Hofbräuhaus stays comfortably warm.

The region is particularly attractive due to the wide range of leisure activities available to pursue in its countryside – from hiking or cycling tours through the Bavarian Forest to skiing or tobogganing in the winter, and even numerous golf courses. Hospitality is a matter of tradition here – the hotel has been owned by the Holzer family since as far back as 1912. Considerably expanded over the years, the building contains comfortable rooms, luxurious suites, restaurants, bars, panoramic terraces, indoor and outdoor pools, a comprehensive range of wellness and cosmetic treatments, and much more. When it comes to furnishings, the venue has prioritised high-quality materials and an exclusive sense of comfort.

Individuality, natural elegance, and clarity

Hotel Schloss Elmau

Steeped in tradition, the Alpenschloss Elmau castle was built during the First World War period of 1914 to 1916 on the remote plateau between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald. Under the management of Dietmar Müller-Elmau, it became an elegant hotel in 1997.

The building’s history also includes the status it developed as a centre for intellectual discussion and music. The hotel was heavily damaged by a fire in August 2005, shortly after which it underwent renovation on the parts of the building that had been destroyed. The new Schloss Elmau now has 152 modern, timelessly beautiful rooms boasting the ultimate in comfort. The furnishings exude a captivating sense of individuality, natural elegance, and clarity. The Kermi bathroom radiators fit in well with this style.
